Recent Development of Food Package Technology Relating Antibacterial Plastics

Abstract: The development of food package technology has been introduced with emphasis on the new concept of active package and its practical forms. The article has reviewed the aspects on antibacterial plastics films package, including antibacterial agents listed among the food additives, the research and preparation of antibacterial plastics films for food package. The potential application of antimicrobial plastics package for variety of food was indicated.
